From thrilling 65-kilometer bike rides along Lake Victoria’s scenic peninsula to close encounters with gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, this itinerary offers a mix of outdoor adventures, cultural discoveries, and wildlife encounters. Along the way, you’ll cycle through picturesque landscapes, meet friendly locals, and witness remarkable wildlife, including lions that climb trees in Queen Elizabeth Park and zebras in Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the charming city of Kampala, visit tranquil lakes, and immerse yourself in Uganda’s rich culture and history. DAY 1: WELCOME TO UGANDA
Your adventure starts with a friendly welcome at the airport. Our driver will be there to take you to a comfy place to stay for the night. Depending on when you arrive, you can have lots of fun in Kampala/Entebbe. You can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Reptile Village, or explore the city.

DAY 2: CYCLE 50KM ACROSS LAKE VICTORIA
In the morning, after a tasty breakfast, our driver will come to your hotel and pick you up. They’ll take you to Beach House Gardens, where your day’s adventure starts. You’ll get on a boat for a short 20 to 30-minute ride on Lake Victoria. This boat trip will bring you to where your exciting 65-kilometer bike ride around the pretty Lake Victoria peninsula begins. As you pedal, you’ll meet local people, enjoy the green views, and feel the fresh breezes from the lake while riding comfortably. Think of this bike ride as a warm-up for the bigger adventure ahead. After you finish the ride and return to where you started, your driver will be waiting, and your bikes will be loaded onto vans. Then, it’s time for a well-deserved lunch. After lunch, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO FORT PORTAL AND CYCLE 25KM
Today, we have a long 6-hour drive to get to Fort Portal. But don’t worry, we’ll stop on the way for a snack and a break to rest. After that, we’ll keep going to Fort Portal. This place is known for its beautiful nature and friendly people. When we get there, we’ll have a yummy lunch. Then, we’ll ride our bikes for about 20 kilometers to reach where you’ll stay. While biking, you can meet nice local people, see pretty lakes, and enjoy the amazing views of the big Rwenzori Mountains. It’s going to be a fun adventure!

DAY 4: CYCLE 57KM AROUND FORT PORTAL
Get ready for a long day of biking, covering up to 57 kilometers. This adventure will take you through various parts of Fort Portal, a city known for tourism. While you ride, you’ll see amazing views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the background, which will make your journey even more special. You’ll also get to explore the areas around Fort Portal and even bike around some beautiful crater lakes. It’s a day full of outdoor fun, beautiful scenery, and a chance to connect with nature in an awesome way.

DAY 5: CYCLE 51KM IN THE MORNING AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH
Let’s go on an enjoyable 51-kilometer bike ride through beautiful places. You’ll get to see lovely lakes that are formed in old craters and big mountains known as the Rwenzori Mountains. While you’re pedaling, you can also meet and learn about how the local people live every day, which is a nice experience. After the bike ride, we’ll put your bikes on a van, and we’ll head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a famous place because it’s home to stunning nature and lots of animals. You’ll have the chance to see elephants, Uganda kobs (a type of antelope), big buffalos, and many more. This part of the journey combines breathtaking scenery with exciting animal sightings, making it an adventure you’ll always remember.

DAY 6: GAME AND BOAT SAFARI
Let’s start the day early with an exciting safari ride. We’ll try to find animals that wake up early, like lions, hyenas, and leopards. There are other cool animals too, such as elephants, playful warthogs, antelopes called Uganda kobs, and big buffalos. We’ll do this safari for 2 to 3 hours. After that, it’s time for lunch, and we’ll prepare for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. During the boat ride, you can see different types of birds, some that come from faraway places, and also big animals like elephants and buffalos drinking water by the river. Keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos swimming in the water; it’s pretty amazing!

DAY 7: RIDE 76KM TO ISHASHA
People often say you have to go on a safari when you’re in Africa. But what if I told you that you can see some of the most incredible animals in the world while riding a bike? In the morning, we’ll pedal 76 kilometers to the Ishasha sector. Here, you can spot lions that actually climb trees! Queen Elizabeth Park is home to many other animals too, like elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and buffalos. Don’t worry, our support van will be with you the entire time to help out.

DAY 8: RIDE 59KM TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Leaving the grassy plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, we’re heading to the thick Bwindi Forest. This 59km bike ride is unique. It’s a bit tough because of the hills, but that’s what makes it even more fun. Along the way, you’ll spot tea farms and enjoy amazing views. You’ll also have the chance to meet local folks. Our last destination is Buhoma, where you can get a close look at mountain gorillas!

DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING ADVENTURE AND TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
Today is the day you’ve been really looking forward to – the gorilla trekking adventure. Experienced guides will explain everything you need to know, and then you’ll head into the thick forest to find these amazing creatures. While you walk through the misty jungle, you’ll see lots of different plants and animals that you won’t find anywhere else. When you meet a gorilla family, you’ll watch what they do and take pictures of the incredible moment. After the gorilla trek, you’ll go to Lake Bunyonyi. This place is known for its beautiful green hills and more than 200 types of birds. There are also 29 islands in the lake, and you’ll stay on one of them.

DAY 10: RIDE AROUND LAKE BUNYONYI
Today, you’re in for an exciting day as you’ll be cycling around Lake Bunyonyi, covering a distance of 45 kilometers. This lake is famous for its clear water and many small islands, which make it look a bit like Switzerland. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful green hills and forests as you ride. Along the way, you can meet friendly local people and see how they live. You might also spot different kinds of birds around the peaceful lake. It’s going to be a memorable journey full of natural beauty and a taste of local culture.

DAY 11: RIDE TO LAKE MUTANDA
After you eat breakfast in the morning, we’ll hop on a boat for a 1-hour ride to the mainland. Today, we’re going to ride our bikes to another lake called Lake Mutanda, but there are some hills on the way. We’ll be going up and down all day, passing through many villages and farms on mostly red dirt roads. In the beginning, the road will be paved for a few kilometers, and Lake Mutanda is a peaceful place for canoeing. You can also see the Virunga Mountain Range from Lake Mutanda.

DAY 12: RIDE AROUND LAKE MUTANDA
You’ll ride your bike around Lake Mutanda, and as you do, you’ll see beautiful hills, small villages, and the calm waters of the lake. The lake is surrounded by pretty hills and has small islands in it. You’ll also see local people going about their day and maybe even some birds. It’s a great way to enjoy nature and learn about the local area while biking around the lake.

DAY 13: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK AND AFTERNOON BIKING
After a tasty breakfast, we’re going to Lake Mburo National Park, a small but amazing place famous for its zebras. When we get there and eat lunch, we’ll go for a bike ride in the afternoon. We’ll pedal along the edge of the park, covering a distance of 25 kilometers, and see cool animals like zebras, Ugandan kobs (a kind of antelope), and funny warthogs. It’s a special experience you’ll remember! And if you want, there’s an optional nighttime safari adventure too. You can also choose to do a night game safari if you’d like.

DAY 14: CYCLE 40 KM INSIDE THE PARK AND DEPART TO KAMPALA
Now, it’s time for another bike ride, but this time it’s inside the park. There are still many opportunities to spot animals. After the ride, we’ll enjoy lunch and then start our journey back to Kampala. On the way, we’ll make another stop at the Equator for souvenirs and more photos. As we bid farewell to Lake Mburo, you’ll carry memories of an enjoyable bike adventure and the incredible animals you got to see.

DAY 15: KAMPALA CITY TOUR AND DEPART
Wake up early and prepare to discover Kampala, the main city of Uganda. You can explore various cool places in the city like the Kasubi Tombs, the National Museum, Bahai Temple, and lively craft markets. Spend time soaking up the local culture and history while you check out these different places.
