In the days that follow, we’ll embark on thrilling cycling escapades to uncover the beauty of Uganda. Our first stop is Lake Mburo National Park, famous for its zebras and exciting bike rides. Then, we’re off to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll experience captivating safaris and even the chance to spot those unique tree-climbing lions. Next, we’ll pedal our way to Bwindi National Park, a sanctuary for mountain gorillas, offering a rare opportunity to observe these gentle giants up close. You can opt for a well-deserved break or continue your gorilla encounters. Our adventure concludes with a comprehensive tour of Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital, where you’ll immerse yourself in the city’s rich culture and history. This detailed itinerary promises a perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and cultural exploration that will leave lasting memories!
DAY 1: WELCOME TO UGANDA
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at the airport. Our friendly driver will be there to take you to your comfortable place to stay for the night. Depending on when you arrive, there are lots of fun things to do in Kampala/Entebbe, like visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Reptile Village, or even exploring the city.

DAY 2: OFF TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After a good breakfast, we’ll head to Uganda’s smallest park, Lake Mburo National Park, known for its zebras. On the way, we’ll stop at the Equator for cool photos and a quick stretch. Once we’re there, we’ll check in and have some snacks before we hop on our bikes for a thrilling 25km ride along the park’s borders. Get ready to see cool animals like zebras, Ugandan kobs, and funny warthogs.

DAY 3: MORE RIDING OUTSIDE THE PARK
Today, we’ll go on a longer bike ride, about 40km along the park’s borders. This ride promises even more amazing wildlife sightings. After the exciting ride, you’ll have a relaxing afternoon – maybe read a book or enjoy nature. But the adventure continues with a night game safari to see animals that come out at night, like leopards, hyenas, and bush babies.

DAY 4: OFF TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
We’re headed about 185km from Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s biggest parks with lots of different animals. We’ll get there in time for lunch and then go on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a river that connects two big lakes. You’ll see a bunch of water animals, especially hippos and Nile crocodiles.

DAY 5: SEE ANIMALS AND CHIMP TREKKING
Wake up early to go on a morning game drive. You’ll see cool animals like lions, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, waterbucks, and more. This will take up your morning. After a bit of rest, get ready for chimp trekking. Chimps are like our closest relatives, so this will be a cool experience to learn more about them.

DAY 6: RIDE TO ISHASHA
They say a safari is a must in Africa. But imagine seeing some of the world’s most amazing animals while riding a bike! In the morning, we’ll ride 75km to the Ishasha sector, known for lions that climb trees. Queen Elizabeth Park has lots of other animals too, like elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and buffalos. Our support van will be with you the whole way.

DAY 7: LOOK FOR TREE-CLIMBING LIONS
One thing you can’t miss in Uganda is the lions that climb trees. Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth is famous for these lions. We’ll go on a drive to find these unique lions – a sight you’ll never forget!

DAY 8: RIDE TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
From the grassy savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park, we’re off to the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi. This 60km bike ride is special. It’s challenging because of the hills, but that makes it even more exciting. You’ll see tea plantations, and awesome views, and get to know the local people. Our final stop, Buhoma, is where you can see mountain gorillas up close!

DAY 9: RIDE TO RUHIJA
Today, we’ll explore the dense forest as we bike along the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This 45km ride includes some climbing, but the views are incredible. You’ll see monkeys, lots of trees and plants, and tons of birds. Bwindi is home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas, and Ruhija is another spot where you can see them.

DAY 10: REST DAY (OR SEE MORE GORILLAS)
You’ve been biking a lot, so today is a good day to let your body rest. You can enjoy nature or read a book. But if you want more adventure, you can go gorilla tracking or visit the local community.

DAY 11: HEAD BACK TO KAMPALA
Our journey back to Kampala goes through Kasese and crosses the Equator. We’ll pass by Fort Portal, known as the “Tourism City of Uganda.” It’s a place full of beautiful crater lakes, tea plantations, forests, and mountains. The views are breathtaking!

DAY 12: KAMPALA CITY TOUR AND GOODBYE
Your trip ends with a tour of Uganda’s capital, Kampala. We’ll explore some important places like religious and historic sites, and you can pick up souvenirs at the crafts markets. This tour will also give you a glimpse into the lives of the people who live in the city. After that, we’ll take you to the hotel to prepare for your departure, depending on your flight time.
