Get ready for a fun 10-day bike adventure in Uganda. It all starts with our experienced driver picking you up from the airport and taking you to a comfy place to stay. Depending on when you arrive, you can explore the lively city of Kampala or the beautiful town of Entebbe. Then, we’ll hop on bikes for a ride around the pretty Lake Victoria area, starting with a short boat trip. After that, we’ll head to Sezibwa Waterfalls for another bike adventure, which people say was shaped by humans over a hundred years ago. We’ll also take a long 6-hour drive to Fort Portal, known for its natural beauty, and do some biking there. We’ll explore Fort Portal more with another bike ride, enjoying beautiful views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Our journey continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its wildlife, where we’ll go on a morning bike ride. You can also enjoy a game drive and a boat ride to see various animals. We’ll bike in Lake Mburo National Park, known for zebras, and there’s even an option for a nighttime safari. Another bike ride inside the park comes before we head back to Kampala, with a stop at the Equator. Our adventure ends with a tour of Kampala, visiting places like the Kasubi Tombs, National Museum, Bahai Temple, and craft markets before you head home.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO UGANDA
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at the airport. Our friendly driver will be there to take you to your comfortable place to stay for the night. Depending on when you arrive, there are lots of fun things to do in Kampala/Entebbe, like visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Reptile Village, or even exploring the city.

DAY 2: CYCLE 50KM ACROSS LAKE VICTORIA
In the morning, after a tasty breakfast, our driver will come to your hotel and pick you up. They’ll take you to Beach House Gardens, where your day’s adventure begins. You’ll hop on a boat for a short 20 to 30-minute ride on Lake Victoria. This boat trip will transport you to the start of your exciting 50-kilometer bike ride around the lovely Lake Victoria peninsula. As you pedal along, you’ll have the chance to meet the local folks, enjoy the green and pretty views, and feel the fresh breezes from the lake all while riding comfortably. Think of this bike ride as a warm-up for the bigger adventure ahead. After completing the loop and returning to the start, your driver will be waiting, and your bikes will be loaded onto vans. Then, it’s time for a well-deserved lunch. After lunch, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.

DAY 3: CYCLE 60KM TO SEZIBWA WATERFALLS
In the morning, after you’ve had breakfast, a friendly driver will come to your hotel to pick you up. They will take you to Luzira Portbell, and from there, you’ll have a short boat ride on Lake Victoria, lasting about 30 to 40 minutes. This boat ride will bring you to the starting point of your bike adventure, which is a 60-kilometer ride to Sezibwa Waterfalls. People say these falls were shaped by humans more than a hundred years ago, which is pretty cool to think about. When you arrive at the falls, your bikes will be put on top of vans, and you can hop in for lunch. After lunch, you’ll be taken back to your hotel. It’s a day of fun exploring and enjoying the beauty of nature!

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO FORT PORTAL AND CYCLE 25KM
Today, we have a long 6-hour drive ahead of us to reach Fort Portal. But don’t worry, we’ll make a stop on the way for a snack and a break to rest. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Fort Portal. This place is famous for its beautiful natural surroundings and welcoming people. Once we arrive, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, we’ll hop on our bikes and ride for about 25 kilometers to reach your accommodation. During this bike ride, you’ll have the chance to meet friendly locals, admire scenic lakes, and take in the stunning views of the impressive Rwenzori Mountains. It’s going to be an exciting adventure!

DAY 5: CYCLE 57KM AROUND FORT PORTAL
Prepare for an extended day of cycling, where you’ll ride for quite a distance, up to 55 kilometers. This adventure will take you through different parts of Fort Portal, a city famous for its tourism. As you pedal, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges, which will serve as a majestic backdrop to your journey. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to explore the areas around Fort Portal and even cycle around some of the stunning crater lakes. It’s a day filled with outdoor exploration, scenic beauty, and a chance to connect with nature in a remarkable way.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK AND AFTERNOON RIDE OF 25KM
After a good breakfast, we’re heading to Lake Mburo National Park, a small but awesome place known for its zebras. When we arrive and have lunch, we’ll go for a bike ride in the afternoon. We’ll pedal along the edge of the park, covering a distance of 25 kilometers, and get to see cool animals like zebras, Ugandan kobs (a type of antelope), and funny warthogs. It’s a special experience you’ll remember! And if you’re up for it, there’s an optional nighttime safari adventure too.

DAY 9: ANOTHER RIDE OF 40KM INSIDE THE PARK AND DEPART TO KAMPALA
Time for another bike ride, this time inside the park. There are still plenty of chances to see animals. After the ride, we’ll have lunch and then head back to Kampala. On the way, we’ll stop again at the Equator for souvenirs and more pictures. As we say goodbye to Lake Mburo, you’ll have memories of a fun bike trip and the amazing animals you saw.

DAY 10: KAMPALA CITY TOUR AND DEPART
Rise early and get ready to explore Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Take your time to immerse yourself in the local culture and history as you explore these diverse attractions.
